Hey, ladies! Happy springtime!

Look, we know you love shoes. And we know the strong, sexy, queen-of-the-world feeling that you get when you don a new pair of spectacular Louis Vuitton stilettos. And, here at [Luxury Women’s Shoe Store], we absolutely always enjoy giving you that new-shoes boost of confidence! And–despite the puzzled looks on your guy friends’ faces–we all know that every woman knows that there’s no such thing as having too many pairs!

But, sadly, there is such a thing as not having enough pairs–namely, zero. Zero pairs of shoes. That sucks. That really sucks, especially when you’re walking over hot sand and rough terrain.

So, we’ve decided to do something to help! And we hope you’ll join us! During the month of April, for every pair of new shoes that you buy at our store, we’ll donate a pair to a kid in Nigeria! Obviously, no, we won’t give the kid a pair of stilettos. We’ve partnered with a locally-owned shoe store in Nigeria that makes super-comfy kids’ sneakers and distributes them through local aid networks–which means, of course, that you’re not only helping the kids; you’re also helping a local business that employs about a dozen people and pays meaningful wages.

Why are we focusing on kids? Well . . . if you have kids, then you know that they grow out of shoes pretty quickly. And when they’re not growing out of their shoes, they’re wearing out their shoes by running around, playing, and generally being kids. Unfortunately, that means that there’s no shortage of kids needing new shoes!

You, of course, deserve to treat yourself to new shoes too! So, with that, go ahead and check out our super-chic new arrivals, just in time for summer!

Happy summer to all of our favourite shoe-loving gals! We hope your happy toes are enjoying some summer sun in your new summer footwear!

And you know who else is happy today? Five hundred kids in Nigeria who are gleefully showing off their comfy new sneakers! The beautiful smiles on their little faces are because of you! For every one of you who bought new shoes from us in April, we bought a pair of sneakers for a kid in Nigeria. Sarah, the woman who runs the shoe store where we bought the sneakers, told us to “please tell the lovely ladies who contributed to this campaign how much their generosity means to the little children in our community and to their mothers. Canada seems so far away to so many of them, so it means a lot to them to know you care.”

So, hopefully their smiles put a smile on your face too! Have fun showing off your new summer shoes!
